Elephants and Rhinos Say Hello
“Elephants and rhinos say hello” is an interactive photo opportunity placed at the entrance, welcoming everyone to the fossil park. The attendees can select elephants and rhinos through a small screen.

The elephants and rhinos will make a lot of interesting actions, and the system will automatically take pictures for the attendees with the animals. Attendees can download photos through a QR code on their mobile phones.
Design process
In this project, there are two screens; one is small and has a touch function, and the other is large and suspended in the lobby. We  designed a process to guide the audiences.

We hope that audiences will stand in the lobby after operating the touch screen and wait for the appearance of elephants and rhinos at specific locations.

Design details
In this project, since the paleontologist’s equipment is very professional, most people may not know the name of these tools. We use the “clothing for paper dolls” method, so that children can easily choose what tools they want on the screen.
Design process
In this project, the audience stands behind a landscape telescope and watches the elephant’s ecology.

The audience can see the scenes and actions of the elephant’s lifetime by watching the screen. In the scene, along with the focused elephant, there will be four other elephants walking amongst the environment randomly. The audience can drag the angle of view directly on the screen with their hands.
Palaeontology Q&A
Palaeontology Q&A has two screens stacked; the lower one is aimed to be used by children.
Penghu Channel Fauna
This is an introduction about the fossils in the museum. The screen is 80cm above the ground, allowing accessibility for all guests in the museum.
